Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)

National Registry of Patients with RA

The Registry was developed jointly by the Association of Rheumatologists of Russia and the non-profit partnership for healthcare programs development and implementation “The Healthy Future”.

The goal of the Registry is optimizing registration of patients with RA in the Russian medical facilities and obtaining reliable data on actual clinical practice.

The Registry helps to accomplish the following:

  • estimate the epidemiology of RA and the use of drug therapies in the outpatient and inpatient settings
  • evaluate the unmet needs in specialized and high-technology care in the Russian  regions
  • assess the current standards of care for RA
  • assess availability and effectiveness of novel diagnostic and treatment methods.

The Registry incorporates a sub-registry titled Moscow Registry of Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis that keeps record of the patient population treated with genetically engineered biologic drugs.
