In the third issue of this year’s  "Kardiologichesky Vestnik" a number of articles were dedicated to the following topic: "Cardiovascular complications and the effectiveness of lipid-lowering therapy in patients with familial hypercholesterolemia and patients with very high cardiovascular risk: three years of observation using RENAISSANCE Registry database".

RENAISSANCE is an open national observational study organized by the National Society for the Study of Atherosclerosis and includes patients with familial hypercholesterolemia (FHC), as well as patients with very high cardiovascular risks (VVRR). [1]

The clinical and statistical data used in the articles was offered by Aston Health, which is the technical operator of the RENAISSANCE Registry.
