INTERNATIONAL DAY OF RARE DISEASES

Publication date: 28 february 2020

This year, the International Day of Rare Diseases was held on Saturday, February 29th.

It is organized by the European Organization for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS) and its coordinating body, the Council of National Alliances, since 2008. The primary goal of the event is to raise awareness about orphan diseases in the general population.

Understanding its social responsibility when developing and implementing the Patient Support Programs, Aston Health places a special emphasis on building the trusting relationships with all stakeholders involved: patients, patient communities, clinicians and healthcare administrators.

Also, our company has accomplished a lot of marketing and epidemiological research projects that covered such orphan diseases as PNH, Gaucher disease, MPS type II, Pompe disease, Fabry disease and other.

Aston Health is currently implementing projects related to Clinical Patient Registries for at least 20 conditions in  Oncology, Onco-Hematology, Autoimmune Diseases, and Lysosomal Storage Diseases.

These Registries are being developed and maintained for both adult and pediatric patients.
