ASTON HEALTH ADVANCES GOVERNMENT STRATEGY IN CANCER PREVENTION

Today one of the key government priorities is enhancing public health and prevention activities. The long-term National Strategy for Cancer Control up to 2030 has established the vision, goals and focus areas for government efforts in cancer prevention. The medical community sees as the most urgent reducing overall cancer-related mortality, including premature mortality in working age population, as well as preventing and bringing down cancer-related disability rates through early detection and improved quality and access to care, better drugs and provision of high-technology medical services, rehabilitation and palliative care.
