Aston Group took part in Рharmabusiness-2016

The conference was held on February 15-16. It was organized by Infor-media Russia. The event was supported by the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.

The Summit was a vital platform for industry stakeholders  and consisted of two separate events:.

• International conference "Pharmaceutical business in Russia: a promising scenario for the market in 2016",  February 15-16, 2016 and
• VIth Pharmacy Summit "Effective management of  a pharmacy chain", February 16, 2016

The event was visited by the heads of the representative offices of leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, general managers of large Russian pharmaceutical companies, distribution companies and pharmacy chains.

The conference opened with the traditional session in which participants discussed the results of the past year and the key trends for 2016.

During one of the panels, Maria Zdzvizhkova, Head of Strategic Consulting, Aston Group, presented a report "Financing of the public sector of the Russian pharmaceutical market: recent developments and outlook for 2016" and took part in the discussion that followed.

On the second day a round table on rare diseases was arranged for conference participants. Inna Pugach, Head of Laboratory Diagnostics, Aston Group presented a report. She highlighted the problem areas such as lack of awareness among physicians about novel diagnostic methods, which negatively affect the accuracy of diagnosis and make the patient journey less efficient. She also suggested a number of actionable solutions to fill the existing gaps.
