Aston Group participated in the II Conference on Provision of Medicines for the Treatment and Prevention of Socially Significant Diseases

On June 15-16, Moscow hosted the II Conference on Provision of Medicines for the Treatment and Prevention of Socially Significant Diseases which was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Health.

Elena Koshkarova, Director of Clinical Patient Registries, Aston Group delivered a presentation titled "Patient registries as an efficient tool to streamline the drug therapy."

Maria Zdvizhkova, Head of Strategic Consulting, Aston Group presented a report “Funding of pharmaceutical provision in the regions of Russia: changes that were introduced in 2016”.

A welcoming speech to the participants was given by Veronika Skvortsova, the Minister of Health of Russia.

Among the conference participants were some of the most notable industry players and KOLs.

The scientific program included such topics as:

• Provision of drugs for treatment of socially significant diseases ( cancer, HIV, hepatitis)
• Hurdles and barriers to the  provision of patients with innovative and costly pharmaceuticals
