Aston Group made a presentation at the annual conference "FINZDRAV 2016"

On December 13-14, 2016 Moscow hosted the Interdepartmental Conference titled "Financing of the Healthcare System - FinZdrav 2016". The event was held under the auspices and with the support of the National Public Health Research Institute n.a. Semashko.

The conference was attended by the representatives of the Federal OMS Fund, the National Research Institute of Public Health, the State Duma, the Department of Drug Supply and Regulation of Medical Devices, the Department of Monitoring and Strategic Development of the Russian Ministry of Health, and other stakeholders.

Maria Sdvizhkova, Head of Strategic Consulting, Aston Group, present a report during the panel "Regional specifics of pharmaceutical funding for patients with socially significant diseases." She ourlined the current trends in the regional health funding, and covered the changes to the DRG-based model of provider payment that occurred in 2016.

During the conference, the representatives of regulatory agencies and the medical community discussed various issues of financing the treatment of socially significant diseases and their prevention, and the challenges related to implementation of the territorial programs of government guarantees and pharmaceutical supply at the regional level.
